Greetings Families!
Thank you to all the families that came to Open House, it was so nice to meet so many people!
We have started spelling words this week. Click on the weekly spelling words tab (above) for more information!
Math: Unit 1: Geometry– lines, angles, shapes.
ELA: Unit 1: Folktales– learning about the genre of Folktales and the predictable patterns they follow.
Writing: Unit 1: Narrative– writing stories that are in the Folktales genre.
Science: Unit 1: Matter– identifying that all items are made of matter and can be classified as a solid, liquid or gas.
Social Studies: Unit 1: Geography– What questions would a geographer ask? 5 Themes of geography: 1. Location, 2. Movement, 3. Human/Environment Interaction, 4. Place, 5. Region

Music:
- Recorder forms will come home today. $4 is due by 10/7
