This is a reminder for items due tomorrow. Students have been working all week on these assignments & they must be complete upon arrival tomorrow, 9/30.

 

  1. Minion Math Fact practice sheet, completed & colored
  2. Spelling Word Work, all 5 days complete
  3. Final copy of a writing of their choice
  4. 2 pages of writing in their writing notebook

Here are our updates for this coming week:

Math: Unit 1: Geometry– lines, angles, shapes.

Quiz this week.

 

ELA: Unit 1: Folktales– learning about the genre of Folktales and the predictable patterns they follow including myths & fairy tales.

 

Writing: Unit 1: Narrative– writing stories that are in the Folktales genre.

District writing exam this week. 

 

Science: Unit 1: Matter– identifying that all items are made of matter and can be classified as a solid, liquid or gas.

 

Social Studies: Unit 1: Geography– What questions would a geographer ask? 5 Themes of geography: 1. Location, 2. Movement, 3. Human/Environment Interaction, 4. Place, 5. Region.

Quiz this week on map skills.

 

Spelling: words will be posted under the “Weekly Spelling Words” tab.

Test Friday.
