Henry Ford Elementary hosts a poetry contest every spring in honor of Earth Day. We had many students from our class and school participate.
I am happy and proud to announce that the 4th grade winner was Ayah A. from our class! Ayah will be reading her Earth Day poem tomorrow at our City Beautiful and Henry Ford Ecology Program.
Please join me in congratulating Ayah and her outstanding work!

We have been working on our Compelling Countries research packets and now our typed reports for about 2 months. We have taken breaks for NWEA and M-STEP. The time has come for us to complete our research reports!

We are having an issue with disposable water bottles in our classroom. Students are not being responsible for their water bottles and most just get left on the floor, still full at the end of the day.
