Today’s Update: Tues. March 17

Hello kids! Most importantly, I hope you and your family are doing well and are adjusting to our new situation of Remote Learning. It’s most important to remember that these things are being handled as best as they can, and we will get through this separately (yet together online) and get back to normal soon. Your goal over this time is to maintain your art skills and upload your work weekly if you can. If not, put your name and date on the work and save to give to me when we get back. I want to answer some questions:

  1. You can use ANY paper you can find to sketch on. If you can’t find any use, paper bags, junk mail, or the other side of old assignments teachers have given you. It does not need to be a sketchbook at all, even blue lined paper. Be creative!
  2. You can draw anything you want, the attachments were just suggestions. It’s always good to draw things from real life, but your imagination is equally awesome too!
  3. I am expecting that most of the paper be filled with drawing, not just a small thing in the middle, draw big, it’s easier! Also, think of backgrounds for what you are making.
  4. Shading and coloring are a bonus and will make your art look EVEN BETTER! I plan on putting all your work up in the hall when we get back, it’ll be your time to SHINE!
  5. STAY POSITIVE!!! WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS! BE CREATIVE, HAVE FUN!
