Archive for February 2020

Monday, February 10: Moylan still isn’t feeling great, so students were mostly working on their own in class to finish two assignments posted to our EnVision class.

Tuesday, February 11: In an effort to keep the Review-train rolling, students created a flipbook which covered most of our quadrilateral properties and came with some practice problems as well. Once the flipbook was completed, students had to show it to Moylan for their credit and then they could work on some missing assignments.

Wednesday, February 12: Any students who didn’t finish their flipbook review from yesterday still had to show it to Moylan for their credit. Once that was done, they got to work on part two of the Unit Review.

Thursday, February 13:

Friday, February 14: Unit Assessment today on our quadrilateral unit! Make sure that you are studying your notecards and keeping track of those properties! Remember, today is the last day to turn in any late assignments for Quadrilaterals! If you have missing assignments after today, you cannot do a Quadrilaterals Retake later this semester!

Monday, February 3: We worked on section 6-3 today in our books, covering the properties of parallelograms.

Tuesday, February 4: After a quick entry ticket, students finished their Try It problems from yesterday. We then discussed the entry ticket before spending the rest of the hour working on some stations.

Wednesday, February 5: Another entry ticket today, then students made their way through section 6-4 together before checking our answers to the Try It problems the last few minutes of class.

Thursday, February 6: We dove into section 6-5 today, talking about Rhombuses, Rectangles, and Squares, covering some of the specific properties each one has which makes them “special parallelograms”.

Friday, February 7: Moylan was out sick today, so students worked on a worksheet to reinforce the special properties we’d covered yesterday. Make sure that you showed your work to get credit!
