Monday, September 23: We started off the week by recapping last week’s guest speaker and checking our work from last week’s reference packet. Then we started looking ahead in Geometry, laying the foundation to use our rigid transformations to support our claims or applying the patterns we’ve worked to find. We did SAS 4, pages 1-2.
Tuesday, September 24: After bell work, Moylan gave a brief rundown of what to expect for the rest of the week, and then we jumped into the last bit of Agile Mind for the unit: Symmetry. We talked about two kinds of symmetry and worked with a few examples before getting a review sheet for our Unit 1 Reassessment.
Wednesday, September 25: Late Start today, plan accordingly! Today was all about reviewing and practicing for tomorrow’s Unit 2 Assessments. We had some Agile Mind assignments to help review (make sure that both are done for tomorrow!), we’ve also got a Vocabulary Quizlet and an Application Quizizz for additional support.
Thursday, September 26: Unit 2 Assessment today on both standards! Also the last day to turn in any Unit 2 assignments for late credit!
Friday, September 27: We’ve got our Unit 1 Reassessment today, make sure that your Review from Tuesday is done and ready to be turned in! If you’ve got any questions, make time for after-school tutoring in the Media Center or ask Moylan before school starts because we don’t have time during class! Afterward, we’re also starting into our third unit of Agile Mind today!
