Weekly News

Tomorrow is the last day to donate to the Hero Squad, pennies for patients”. We have raised over $220 and it is a tight race between our class and two other classes. Thank you so far for your donations, “together we can change Cancer.”

Tomorrow’s Valentine’s Day: Ware red or pink, kids can ware heat headbands, silly socks, accessories etc. If they want to bring in a snack to share, there are 21 students. We will most likely have our celebration and card exchange before lunch due to to busy afternoon.

Social Studies: our assessment will be tomorrow, we have been reviewing this week and it will be open notebook and read aloud to them. There is no study guide, it is an easy, quick, short little thing so please don’t worry!

Writing: We are continuing to edit, revise and publish our Animal research papers. They are typing them in google classroom and I believe you can access them at home if you would like a sneak peak.

Reading: this week it took a back seat due to the challenge of writing and editing. They all did get a new book and will get more tomorrow so they have something to read over the break.

Next week there is no school. Enjoy your break!
