To finalize out unit on plants, we are having a plant party and eating salad together. The party will take place on Friday, April 29th in the afternoon.  Your children made a list of beans, seeds, roots, stems, leaves, flowers, vegetables and fruit to put in our salad. Then, they were asked what they would like to bring in for the salad. A note is coming home today, if anyone has any questions, please feel free to email me asap.  Make sure to wash and cut all items, and send them in a large zip lock.

Friendly reminder that the Pen Pal permission slip and $6.00 is due tomorrow.

Also, we will be having Olive Garden for lunch tomorrow. If your child does not like salad or pasta, please send their lunch.

April 26 – ELA Day 1

The Fun Run will take place on Thursday, April 14th in the afternoon.  There will be two groups running.  The Fun Run for the kindergarteners-2nd graders will be at 1pm and then having the 3rd-5th graders start at 2. The top boy and top girl that brings in the most donations will win a pizza lunch with the principal!

The DOvall Club is hoping to collect all your spare change to help children with cancer through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Since 1993, students and educators throughout the United States and Canada have raised more than $288 million. Here at DuVall we are in our 5th year of campaigning and have raised over $5 thousand dollars! We collected $800 hundred dollars last year and we are hoping to beat that amount this year, so please help us achieve our goal! We are collecting all change and dollars until Friday, March 18th. Your child can bring in the collection box that was sent home or even in a ziploc bag, any amo
