ABC countdown for tomorrow and Friday:)
Lansing Trip 2016
Lansing Trip is Tomorrow!
Please meet at the preschool doors on Francis St. at 7:50 a.m. The bus will leave at 8:00 a.m. so we can arrive in Lansing for our scheduled tours. Students should dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, bring a bag lunch with their name on it and a drink (no glass bottles, please). Please make sure everything is disposable because students will not be able to carry food into the Capitol Building or the historical Museum.
We will be arriving back at the school by dismissal time.
Looking forward to a fun trip!
Volunteer Forms for tomorrow…
Hi Families,
I was notified by the office that you will need to update your IChat and your driver’s licenses and insurance (if you are driving another child). They have a master list in the office so when you get to school, they will let you know what you will need to fill out. According to the State, the IChat forms expire after 3 years and you must resubmit it before tomorrow’s trip.
If you would like to do this today, you are more than welcome to stop by the office during school hours.
I have a large list so it will take a few minutes. Please get to school between 9:10 and 9:20 tomorrow, to give yourself enough time to fill out the paperwork in the office so that we can debrief in my room at 9:30.
Thank you again for volunteering and we look forward to tomorrow’s trip.

Change in plans
Hi everyone, sorry for the late update, but today’s M-Step test was very intense, and it will continue tomorrow so I told the kids that there will be no Science Test. We don’t have enough time for it and the kids (and I ) have exhausted the topic of plants and stems lol. Life is good. They are all passing:)
We do have a little social studies review that we will do tomorrow afternoon, but it should be “fun” (as fun as the growth of Michigan can be) and then we are testing Friday for Language usage and Science for NWEA – MAP testing.
Thank you again!
Mrs. M
Thank you!
Thank you families for sending in “roots, stems, leaves, seeds and fruits” for our plant celebration! The kids and I appreciate it very much and can’t wait to dig into our salad after music today.
Reminder: Greenfield Village permission slips and money are due. If you have a membership, please mark that at the bottom of the slip so that I do not count you and your child for the total charge at the door. If you do not have a membership it is $8.00 per person.
Thank you and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
