Updated Cell Phone Policy
Cell Phones
- The Dearborn Public Schools board of education policy does not allow students at the elementary level to have cell phones at school. Students who are caught using cell phones in school, including sending text messages, will be subject to disciplinary action and the phone will be confiscated and held in the office. Phones may only be picked up from the office by a parent/guardian. This includes smart watches, such as the Apple Watch, that have cell phone and Internet capabilities.
- DuVall Elementary School is not responsible for lost or stolen cell phones or other electronic devices.

If you ordered the Holiday Craft, your ornament kit will be going home with your student on Monday/Tuesday. Each kit is individually wrapped to ensure no broken ornaments in the travel home! There is a picture on the kit to guide the kids, but it is certainly up to their imagination on how they would like to decorate!
A huge thank you to Jennifer Lukas of Dearborn Novelty Art, for preparing the craft, and donating the proceeds right back to DuVall! If you’re looking for a unique gift for the holidays or anytime during the year, please visit their store at 3726 Monroe St.
The safety meeting has been changed this week from Thursday to tomorrow (Tuesday). Students should be here at 8:15, room 202, with their belts and captains with their paperwork done. Thanks!
