Good afternoon parents!

Note about 3rd quarter Math:

Because we are in the middle of Unit 6 we have not tested. But, mandatory grades are due to input this week so I am giving ALL students a “3” (progressing) in the following areas:

Fractions and Geometry

I expect all students to fulfill their abilities by 4th quarter. This did effect some student’s final grade and they will end up with a “2” (Meets Expectations) instead of a “1” (exceeds) for the card marking.  I expect all students to fulfill their abilities by 4th quarter and their well deserved “1” will be instated.

In addition. updated NWEA scores from winter will appear in “Grade Level” for Math and Reading Levels.

If you have any questions and would like a conference for next week Wednesday, please don’t hesitate to ask. However, an email would be appreciated because tonight is dedicated to literacy night and I won’t be able to give you my full attention.

Thank you! And I look forward to seeing you tonight for Literacy night from 5:00 – 6:30PM

Be Amazing!  Collect Change and Save Lives!

LLS is the world’s largest non-profit health organization dedicated to finding cures for blood cancers.  Our Student Series’ Pennies for Patients program helps raise money to fund research for therapies that save the lives of blood cancer patients.  By participating in Pennies for Patients, we all will have new opportunities to incorporate service learning and character building with our students, who will also learn about service, leadership and philanthropy.

Our DuVall students can make a difference in helping save the lives of blood cancer patients! We have a lofty goal of $1000 dollars this year! The DOvall Club will be collecting all your spare change and dollars from Monday, March 20th through Friday, March 31st. 1st place is an amazing lunch from Olive Garden and 2nd place is an ice cream party. Thank you for your donations to this worthy cause!
