As we prepare for the program and finalize staffing, we need to know number of chaperones attending for the trip.

During the trip, 4th graders will be separated into 4 groups, and the kids will need full supervision during all rotations. They have asked us to inform parents “they will be actively involved and must be able to walk around the farm”. The chaperones need to monitor all behaviors during the presentations and assist group leaders as necessary. It’s a fun trip and a safe, busy one:)

4 things we will be learning about:

Embryology and the chicken life cycle

Ruminants and goat milking

Vermicomposting

greenhouse visit

Walk around the pond

Due to limited spacing on bus parents will need to follow us.  Please let me know if you can join us by Tuesday so I can respond and find out $$.

Please turn in an empty, clean can today in the office, or tomorrow with your child. In order to continue project they must dry by Thursday. So far only 10 kids have brought them in.

Tomorrow, kids are allowed to bring in their electronics. If you do not want them broken, lost or stolen, do not send them in. Kids will be responsible for them and they should have a case.

We finished day one of M-Step and we have Day 2 tomorrow morning.

Celebration: Today we will be having a celebration. All students have earned the reward for APRIL. I am rewarding them with 2 NWEA tests lol
