🌴🌼🌸 Parents, a lot of you are asking if we are rescheduling the Daddy Daughter Dance. As a group we decided that we are going to combine the Daddy Daughter and Mother Son Dance Into a Family Luau. So find your Hawaiian shirt and grass skirts!! It will take place on Friday, April 27th. The cost will be the same $25 per family but $5 per additional child if they do not currently attend DuVall. If you already paid for the DD Dance we can roll your money over or if you can’t attend or want to get your money back we are happy to send it home with your child. We hope everyone is happy with this decision!  We know it will be a lot of fun!! 🌴🌸🌼

Door Contest and March is Reading Month Information

~Thank you! I appreciate your help, the door looks awesome so far. Still waiting on a few pictures but overall I’m proud of our work.

~Tomorrow is the launch of the “Reading Olympic Games” assembly. Our class pulled the country Canada. Please have your child wear white or red tops/dresses/bows/ tomorrow for the ceremony. If they have red or white pants or skirts or tights that would work too! We have already made flags and found fun facts about Canada. (Did you know that Canadians eat more Macaroni and cheese than any other country)?

~A reading log and calendar will be sent home today. Please put it somewhere safe, this will be the only one your child receives and they must turn it in at the end of the month in order to attend the PBIS party.

~Finally, if you can read to our class, please fill out the “Mystery Readers” sheet and return it tomorrow.

Thanks!

Happy March

March is Reading Month

Hi Families,

This week our class needs to decorate our door for a contest. Our theme for the door is animals, and I am scrapping my first idea because I JUST had a more creative and adorable idea. Please have your child take a picture with or of their pet. If you could print it out by tomorrow that would be great. If you need to email them to me I can print them at CVS and use our popcorn money.

I WANT to win lol, I won last year so the pressure is on for a repeat.

Thank you so much and sorry for the late notice but you can’t rush brilliance. (kidding)

Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who made today amazing! From The donations, cards, volunteers, flowers, cookies, chocolates to the Valentine’s Olympic donations. I am so lucky to have such great families. I love all my students like family, and felt the love today.

We had such a blast doing our “events” please ask your kids about the pictures. All the teams earned Gold at least once today!

Enjoy your families today, and Happy Valentine’s Day and Ash Wednesday to those who celebrate.
