DuVall Community,

Earlier this morning police cars and EMS were in the neighborhood near our school.  During this time, students were learning safely at school. The police and EMS were responding to an situation that was not related to school operations and appears to be a medical emergency.

It is hot again today. Please send your child in summer clothes (shorts and tanks are suggested, sundresses)Also, please send a water bottle. Thank you to Mrs. Dunlap for donating Popsicles! Have a great Wednesday!

Unfortunately an old list was posted for third grade supplies on the Duvall blog. This  list was made up many years ago before Ms. Cibasek or I taught third grade. Please do not worry about replacing any items, we will work with what we have and I appreciate your support. I am so sorry for the confusion!

Welcome back to school 2018/19 class of 3rd graders. Here is your clue to our theme this year…I’ll meet you outside at line 109 on Monday:)

My wonderful families,

Thank you for such a supportive, wonderful school year. I have enjoyed your children and am confident they are ready for 4th grade both socially and academically. This class had a 98% growth of at LEAST one grade level, so basically we were an amazing team! I am proud of this and you should be too.

Thank you for all the kind letters, cards, gifts, flowers, doggy treats, chocolates, pictures and hugs. Enjoy your summer, remind your kids to read and go on “freckles” to practice math, and I will see you in the fall.

If your child didn’t bring purple t today, bring it tomorrow to sign. they don’t have to wear them (in fact it might be easier if they don’t)

Back packs are full. We cleaned out desks today..yeiks is all I have to say lol.

Please send them back tomorrow empty. They will be bringing home report cards, father’s day gift, 4th grade suggested supply list and anything else they couldn’t cram in.

Tomorrow is a 1/2 day.

Tomorrow is Yogartopia Day. We are leaving our class at 1:30 and returning around 2:15. Wear comfy shoes for walking. If you want to wear you purple shirt you may.

Tomorrow and Thursday… opportunities to have your child’s t-shirt signed. They can bring them in either day and get them signed. If you have a silver or white sharpie or fabric marker they will be the only colors that will show up on the shirt.  Please send it with your child.

Tomorrow is Park and Pool Day…Still Need 1 more cooler with ice, please see below…

1. All kids must report to school at 8:35 for attendance.
2. If you are driving your child only and setting up, you may take your child early after attendance. (Thank you for your help)
3. All chaperones please report to the office to sign in. Many of you need to fill out an ichat/insurance at 9:15am. I will call the office to let them know when you can come to our class.
4. Stay with your group at all times. They are your responsibility.
5. If you drive another child, that child must go back with you.
6. Kids come dressed in swimsuit. Lotion on. Purple t-shirt.
7. Pack: change of clothes for after pool if you want                                     towel, sun screen, sign up genius item
