Hi families. Tonight there is a special on the Discovery Channel called “Racing Extinction” at 9:00. It is rated PG. If you are able to WATCH IT FIRST to see if it is appropriate for your child, please do. We are discussing environmental issues in Michigan for science and social studies. Please watch it first to see if your child can handle the material.  It may be too scary or sad for the kids. So, I will watch it tonight and possibly grab some topics to discuss in class for the rest of the week or year.

Hi! Friendly reminder that tomorrow is our party with our book buddies. If you have a board game, could you please send it with your child so that the kids could play an “old fashioned” game with their buddies. I have 5 that I could bring, but that isn’t enough. Put your name on the game, and you will get it back Monday after school.

Monday, November 23

We will be celebrating Thanksgiving on Monday from 2:40 – 3:35 with our book buddies from Ms. Sims’ class. Our class will be donating deserts, plats, pudding and utensils. When the sign up genius gets sent out, please sign up to donate for the party. If you would like to volunteer that would be great, and the party will be held in the cafeteria. The kids will eat together for about 15 min and then they will be playing old fashioned games with their buddies (if you have a game to donate for the afternoon, we would love that). When we say “old fashioned” we mean…no technology!
