Currently we have Parent Talk classes on Monday at Becker Elementary 1:00-2:30 pm. Media Center.Classes on Tuesdays Maples Elementary 9:00-10:30 am. Cafeteria. Tuesday evening O.L. Smith Middle School 6:00-7:30 pm Room 6. Monday 9:00-11:00 am Mc/Unis in the Orange Room. More schools will be added throughout the year. So stay tuned to the blog to find out when a class will be offered in your neighborhood and join us for some up-lifting new ideas and concepts about parenting.
The Parent Talk classes that were currently in the evening at Nowlin have been moved to Tuesdays at O.L.Smith starting the 24th of October.

Book fair tomorrow
Our class will be attending the book fair tomorrow. You may send in money for your child to purchase books if you wish. 🙂
Box Tops and Coke lids
We will be collecting Box Tops and Coke Caps/codes, to get some wonderful things for our school!

We’re off to a great start!
My name is Lorielle Moorhaus. I am very excited to be at Nowlin Elementary School this school year. We are off to a great start! Here is some information about me:
I have worked in schools for the past 10 years, primarily as a substitute teacher. I received my teacher certification in elementary education and special education from Eastern Michigan University, where I am currently a graduate student, studying Autism Spectrum Disorder.
I have been married to my wonderful husband Ken for 22 years. We have four beautiful children, ranging in age from 15 to 30. Our oldest daughter is a manager at Wahlburgers Restaurant. Our older son attends Eastern Michigan University, and is pursuing music therapy. Our younger son just started his architecture program at Lawrence Technological University. Our younger daughter is a high school sophomore this year.
I look forward to a wonderful school year with your child. I believe that when we all work together, your child will have a successful school year.
