Mrs. Moorhaus's Class

Monday February 11th, from 6:00-8:00, is our huge Sciencepalooza at Nowlin. The Michigan Science Center will be bringing 10 different STEM stations for you and your family to rotate through. There will be a ton of hands on learning in the building. Families that participate will also be given a follow up opportunity to visit the Science Center in Detroit. We hope to see everyone for this awesome free event! Bring the entire family.

The book fair will be at Nowlin next week, Tuesday, February 5 – Thursday, February 7. If you would like your child to purchase books, please send money in with them. Also, if you are able to volunteer to help with setup, tear down, or during the bake sale, sign up here:

We are working on animal projects for science/language arts. We are excited to share what we have learned about our animal, such as their life cycle, their habitat, and what they eat. We are working on becoming amazing researchers and writers!

Next Wednesday, 1-23-19, from 6:00-7:00 is a Book Bingo in the lunchroom. It is $2.00 per player for 4 total games and each child leaves with a book. 🙂

Don’t forget that in collaboration with the PTA, we are offering parent informational meetings every month. Our fifth parent involvement meeting will take place this Thursday, January 17,2019 at 8:45am and at 3:45 pm in the media center. Our topic this meeting with be on parent talk. We look forward to seeing those who are able to attend!
