For March is Reading Month I like to invite families to come in and read to the class. I have books available to read, or you may bring one of your family favorites to share. Posted onI will miss you tomorrow, but I hope you get to play outside in the snow. Remember to do spelling and reading homework for both Tuesday and Wednesday. Also, a heads up that next Monday, March 2nd starts our reading month celebration. We will be dressing up as Dr. Seuss or a Dr. Seuss character or in red, black and white.

Welcome back!
Posted onTomorrow will be a full day of learning. We are starting a new unit on government in social studies, a new unit in math on fractions and continuing our exploration of rocks and minerals in science. We will also be starting a new book in reading!

Valentine’s Day
Posted onWe will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Friday, February 14th. Please see the attached sign up for any treats that you may be able to send in. As always, be sure they do not have nuts and are store bought.
All children all welcome to bring in Valentine cards to pass out. I sent a class list home with your student today that they can use to fill out the cards before next Friday.
You are welcome to join us, however it will be just a few activities and snacking.
Math Night Tonight
Posted onTonight from 5:30 – 6:30 we will be having fun math games and activities for students to enjoy. Please bring your child and have some fun with math – I will be here with a STEM activity for them to make and take home.
If my students visit me tonight they earn Moon Money!
