** Culture Food Day is Tomorrow! Students will need to bring their food dish in the morning. We are encouraging students to dress up in the culture’s clothing that they studied!

End of the Year Picnic Donations
The 4th Grade will be having the End of the Year Picnic on Wednesday, June 12th. For this event, students will need to BRING A PACKED LUNCH, but we do need some food and drink donations for snacks throughout the day. Please look at the Sign Up for items.

4th Grade Picnic Parent Meeting
There will be a Parent Planning Meeting this THURSDAY at 8:00 am in Room 6 for the 4th Grade End of the Year Picnic.
Please come to the meeting with ideas for Games and Activities and to sign up for food and drink items! If you can’t come, but would like to contribute to the picnic, please email or class dojo message me.
The actual date for the picnic will be Wednesday, June 12th.

NWEA Homework Tonight
We are taking the MATH NWEA TEST TOMORROW!
There will not be a spelling test on Thursday, due to the early dismissal yesterday. Instead of spelling, tonight’s homework is for students to do 2 or 3 prepdog.org quizzes. prepdog.org can work on a phone, iPad or tablet, or computer.
Please take this extra time to do this homework!

Reading and NWEA Homework: 20 minutes of reading, Raz Kids with quizzes or prepdog.org is a great free website that has test questions for each subject area that are similar to the one’s on NWEA. Go to 4th Grade RIT Quizzes and you will see Basic, Proficient, and Advanced quizzes for Reading, Math and Language. Please feel free to take any of these quizzes through the NWEA testing period.
Math: Decimal Topic A Quiz was today. We are still working on decimals
Spelling: Spelling list will go home today. Test on Thursday!
4th Grade Weekly Homework Sheet: No Homework sheet due to NWEA. Please take this extra time to get students to either go to bed early or get up early to eat breakfast.

Homework Tonight
Most of the students will be taking the Language or Reading NWEA tomorrow morning. For tonight’s homework, please have students do two prepdog.org quizzes. I am seeing that students who are taking these quizzes for homework are increasing their scores from the Winter NWEA.
