Our field trip is tomorrow! We will be walking through the woods and canoeing down the river. Please dress for a humid and warm day. We recommend using bug spray or insect wristbands and perhaps some sunscreen too. Humid days in the woods might attract a few mosquitoes so we want to be careful and proactive in this regard. Also, remember to pack a paper bagged or Ziploc bagged lunch.
Here are the homework answers from this week’s homework. The quiz will consist of 3 subtraction problems and 1 subtraction story problem for a total of 4 questions. Feel free to use the homework answers as a guide of what the questions might look like.
Please pack a paper bag or zip lock bag lunch with your child’s name, and teacher’s name on it (Student Name, Miss Vuichard)
We will be leaving school around 9:15 a.m. and we will be back at school at 2:30 p.m.
*Chaperones* For the field trip on Monday, please come to the school’s office at 9:15 a.m. Don’t forget to pack a bagged lunch and wear appropriate clothing for the weather. If you have any questions, please message me. Thank you for chaperoning!
Chaperones will be driving to the Oakwoods Nature Center: 32911 Willow Road New Boston, MI 48164
Please dress appropriately for the outside. We will be hiking and canoeing during this field trip. It will probably be muddy, so please wear shoes that can get dirty. The weather looks muggy and hot, so I suggest wearing shorts or athletic pants, a t-shirt, and comfortable shoes. Students can bring drawstring backpacks to carry their things in for the field trip, but they will be responsible to carry their items the whole day, not the chaperone.
We will be taking our Monday Math Quiz before the Field Trip. Students do not need to bring their backpacks to school on Monday!
If you have any questions, please email me at vuichaa@dearbornschools.org or class dojo message me.
