Homework This Week Includes:

Math Packet: Practice for Expanded Form every night

Spelling: Students must do 4 spelling activities (1 per night) that equals to 30 points

Reading: Read 30 minutes every night and complete the reading log. Please sign your child’s reading log every night!

***Homework will be due on Friday 10/13. This means that they will turn in their WHOLE PACKET on Friday instead of everyday.

3rd Grade Parents: We are in need of about 8 empty cereal/cracker boxes for a science experiment!  Please send in an empty cardboard cereal box or cracker box by Friday and your student will earn 2 dojo points!

There is a homework packet coming home today! The packet includes math homework for every night and a reading log. Students are required to read 30 minutes a night. This reading log will help student be accountable for their reading at home. I send home a reference sheet for each activities that students can use if they get stuck.

Students will be bringing their notebook and their study guides home today to study for their test tomorrow. Also, I put a 2 page review in their homework packets for them to do tonight.

Reading: 30 Minutes

Spelling: Test tomorrow: Write a short story using all 15 spelling words, then study for 20 minutes or more. Academic vocabulary will be on the test.

Math: Math packets are due tomorrow! Make sure to complete all of your math pages including the Thursday HW.

PICTURE DAY IS TOMORROW!! Please send in the photo order form tomorrow!

Also, the outdoor movie night orders are due tomorrow, too.

FIELD TRIP is tomorrow!

It will be a hot day. Please send your child to school with appropriate clothing, tennis shoes, and a paper bag lunch. Please send your child with a water bottle. They are responsible for any item they bring on this field trip. If you have any questions, please email me!

Please wear appropriate clothing and bring a pack lunch in a paper bag. We are going to be walking a lot, so please send your student to school in walking shoes.
