Homework and Announcements for the week:

Math: We starting to learn how to use a protractor when measuring angles. There will be a Math Test on Friday on angles.

Spelling: This week we will be working on words that have the sound /are/. Get to 30 page for homework. Test on Friday!

Reading: Reading Log every day. Students should read for 30 minutes. Please try to use MyOn at home if you can. MARCH’S READING MONTH STARTS THURSDAY! Please be ready to encourage your child to read every night during March!

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. On Wednesday,February 14, we will be having a party from 2:00 p.m. to 3:35 p.m.This party will include passing out valentines, making heart suncatchers, STEM Candy Heart Challenges, and a fan favoriteBINGO! The money that was donated in the beginning of the yearwill go towards all these activities. I am asking, though, fordonations for a healthy snacks. Please look at the sign-up and feelfree to donate.

Come dance the night away at Haigh’s Family Valentine’s Dance!

It is tonight in the gym from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

4th Grade will be taking the Listening and Reading portion of the Wida Test tomorrow. Please get a goodnight sleep and eat breakfast in the morning. We will be taking the test at 9:00 a.m.
