Homework and Announcements for the week:

Math: Please check in planner for homework pages and problems. A homework expectation will be coming soon. I suggest students to do the homework for the extra practice.

Spelling:  Spelling list will go home today. Students will be doing spelling activities throughout the week to get them ready for their test on Friday.

Reading: 20 minutes

4th Grade Weekly Homework Sheet: Complete one box each day. It will be collected on Friday for a homework grade.

Weekly Homework Sheet: Think about it Thursday Box. Homework sheet is due tomorrow! 

Spelling: Test tomorrow, students may access iLearn at home and do spelling activities

Math: Homework policy is changing. We will be sending home a note tomorrow. For now, the math homework is optional and can be use for extra practice at home. The problems will not be graded. The problems tonight are #3 and #4 on page 15.

Math: Today students will take their first pretest for the first Module. We are using Eureka Math this year! Tomorrow we will begin giving math homework.

4th Grade Homework Sheet is coming home today! They will complete one box each day. Please have your student bring their homework back to school everyday this week. Today students will complete the Tuesday box. Students will create an illustration with a caption.

Today, students received many letters of information. Parents please fill out and return the parent survey (yellow packet) and the emergency card (tan paper) tomorrow.

Also, I will be creating a family board for our classroom, so it would be great if you could send a family photo with your child to school this week.

Happy Last Week of School!

** Picnic Information: Each grade level in my room will go to their own picnic. For example, only the 3rd graders in my class will go to their picnic tomorrow. The 4th graders will be in the other fourth grade classrooms during this time. This is the same situation for the 4th graders on Wednesday. They will go to their picnic and the 3rd Graders will go to the other 3rd Grade classrooms.

Here are some events and reminders for the week:

6/12, Tuesday (TOMORROW) – 3rd Grade Picnic! Parents with donations please bring them to Levagood Park around 10:00 a.m. Remember students can bring a beach towel, balls or any other playground equipment to the park. 3rd Graders do NOT  need to bring a lunch. There will be pizza served. 

6/13, Wednesday – 4th Grade Picnic! Parents with donations please bring them to Levagood Park around 9:30 a.m. Remember students can bring a beach towel, balls or any other playground equipment to the park. 4th Graders bring a paper bag lunch. 

6/14, Thursday (Half Day Dismissal at 11:45 am) Breakfast Provided by Miss Vuichard. Students may bring board games or cards to play with.
