Homework and Announcements for the week:

Math: Mid-Module Test will be this THURSDAY! Homework check will be on Wednesday. Then, the study guide will be sent home tomorrow!

Spelling:  Spelling list will go home today. Students will be doing spelling activities throughout the week to get them ready for their test on Friday. 4 activities must be done on iLearn by Friday.

Reading: 20 minutes (or Reading Group Homework)

4th Grade Weekly Homework Sheet: ** This is a new homework sheet we are trying out. Students are given the homework on Monday and it is due on Friday.

Flyer and Donation Sheet is coming home today!

Dear Parents:

We will be having a Grinch Day next Friday, Dec 14th!  In honor of seeing the movie, learning about the characters, setting, plot, and comparing and contrasting the movie and text, we thought having a Grinch Day would be the perfect culmination to our learning. We will have a day full of learning and fun centered around “Grinchy activities”.

We would also like to have treats this day. If you have any awesome Grinch snack ideas, we would greatly appreciate any donations. Please fill out the piece of paper coming home today and return it back to school on Monday, if you would like to donate treats. 

Spirit Wear orders and money are due on December 11th!

Haigh Elementary is collecting toys for the Rainbow Connection. Please consider donating toys to this great organization. The toy collection will end THIS FRIDAY! If you are interested, please send in the toys unwrapped with your student to school. The collection boxes are located in the main hallway at Haigh.

Field Trip**** Permission Slips for our next field trip is coming home today! Please seek this permission slip in your child’s owl folder, sign and return it back to school with money by Friday, November 30th.

Field Trip: Movies to see The Grinch

Date: Tuesday, December 4th

Time: 8:45 to 11:30 (We will not be back in time for lunch, so students must bring a lunch to school)

Method: Bus

Cost: $5.00

*We do not need any chaperones for this trip
