If your student did not order a t-shirt yet, there will be one more order of t-shirts to help support our Lansing trip. Shirts are $15.90 (including tax) and can be ordered until Friday November 8. Another order form was sent home with students today but please see me if you need another!

Becker Students Enjoy iPads from DEF
At the end of last school year, Miss Sellers wrote a grant that was funded by the Dearborn Education Foundation allowing us to purchase 2 new iPads that will run our robots at Becker! Here are some pictures of the Becker students getting to use them for the first time this school year!

Exploring and Building with Keva Planks
Becker students got to explore yesterday with Keva Planks, creating structures of all shapes and sizes. They had a blast!
Recording, Reading, QR Codes!
Last week with Mrs. Chammout’s 1st/2nd grade split class at Haigh, we spent time recording videos of them reading their superhero stories that they wrote. Afterward, Miss Sellers turned their videos into QR codes so that everyone who comes down the hallway can watch their awesome videos!
Becker 2nd Graders Test Their Bridges!
After reading the story, Iggy Peck: Architect, Becker 2nd graders built their own bridges out of straws and tape and tested their resiliency holding up pennies. This is Mrs. Koss’s class after they tested their bridges!
