
I hope “Spring Break” was a pleasant week for everyone and your family found time to relax in the midst of the chaos surrounding us. I’m glad to be back with your students and back to a routine with them this week! Please remember to reach out with questions or concerns if you are having trouble or need anything! Also-we will have our virtual class meeting on Monday at 11:30. I look forward to seeing them!
Here are the assignments for week 4:
Reading:
- Read for 30 minutes per day. (If you don’t have a novel at home, check out Storyline Online or Epic)
- Readworks– One article and question set per day. Click sign-in with Google. I have assigned you 3 articles to read and answer questions about. Please complete one each day. These will be graded and returned on Google Classroom.
- Listen to our class read aloud every day: Fourth Grade Rats
Math:
- Watch video for lessons 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 Unit 5 Video Tutorials. One lesson video per day.
- Module 5 Book Link
- After watching each day’s lesson video on the link above, complete the matching lesson on Zearn. One lesson per day.
- Once finished with the Zearn lesson, complete the matching lesson homework in the Succeed Math Book. (**If you did not come into school to pick up your succeed book, copies of the lesson homework are attached to this page to complete.)

Project Based Learning:
- We’re going on a virtual road trip to 3 National Parks! This is a self-paced activity. You will find all the information on this project in Google Classroom! It is due on April 24.
- There are three parts to this project
- Research: You will need to research information on the three parks you would like to visit.
- Report: You will need to summarize the information in Google Slides
- Present: You will be making a travel brochure that documents the national parks you visited virtually! (in Google Slides)

- Make sure you check your Google Classroom page for art and music to complete those assignments

Field Trip:
- Take a trip to the Georgia Aquarium and check out the live animal cams!
Logan and I love watching the tv series The Aquarium on Animal Planet. It’s gives you great insight to what goes on behind the scenes at the Georgia Aquarium. Very fun and educational; I highly recommend it since that’s where the virtual field trip is to…wish we could all go for real!
