If you would like to serve as a chaperone for any of the field trips listed, you must have a background check on file–no exceptions. To complete a background check, you must come to the school office with photo id (i.e., a driver’s license) and complete the forms in person. It takes two weeks to process before you are eligible to chaperone.
When you serve as a chaperone, you are agreeing to help monitor students during the trip. If you cannot stay for the entire trip, please sign up for a different trip. This allows us to provide a safe learning experience for all students. Additionally, if you find that you cannot chaperone but you have signed up, please contact the office as soon as possible so we can make other arrangements. We appreciate all of the volunteers who make extended learning opportunities possible at Haigh!
