Welcome to 3rd grade parents and children!

My name is Alyssa Hespen and I will be your child’s 3rd grade teacher. I graduated from California State University Long Beach and recently moved back to Dearborn to be an Oakman Lion. I grew up in Michigan and attended Dearborn Public Schools my entire education. I couldn’t be more proud or excited to be here. This is my first year teaching so I am honored to have your children in my class to kickstart my career.

In my classroom I expect honest, hard working students and goal setters. Each of your children are cared about not only in my classroom, but at Oakman. I value each of their ideas, thoughts and actions and cannot wait to learn more about my students and each of their unique talent and strength.
