In our new reading program, called Benchmark, has performance tasks for the students to work on in class. These incorporate all of the concepts we have been learning about. We will be doing these this week together to work through them.

Writing:

We are working on informational writing and comparing and contrasting animals using a venn diagram. We also worked on the 3rd grade writing prompt last Friday and we will finish that up on Monday.

Math:

We are on Lesson 16 starting Monday. Once we finish Lesson 21 there will be an end of the module test. We will have time to prepare in class as well as at home for homework. Once this gets closer I will let you know the day of the test and what we will be doing to prepare for it.
