This week the 3rd-5th graders participated in an activity called Mission Impossible. Students are to work together as a team to try and get everyone across the gym using different types of equipment. This activity teaches many great skills which is why I like introducing it; teamwork, creativity, patience, and balance.
Students have been working on catching and throwing skills. Below you will see kindergarten students working together to practice these skills. Keep your eyes on the ball!

We are beginning our floor hockey unit today on 1/13. Students are experimenting with stick handling, and working on moving with full control of the ball.
We have started our football unit at Miller! Students will learn different skills involved in the game including how to carry the ball, receiving handoffs, running routes, as well as throwing and catching. The end of the unit will commence with a modified flag football game!
