Thank you so much parents for making teacher’s appreciation week so special! 🙂 I loved all of the little surprises and the big gift basket that I received on Friday! It is great to be apart of Lindbergh’s team!!
Reminders: There is a late start this Wednesday!
Language Arts: We are reviewing characters, setting, and events in a story again this week. It would be helpful at home after your child reads, to ask them who the characters are in the story, what is the setting, and what events took place (beginning, middle, end). In writing, we are finishing the year writing narratives. This week we are focusing on choosing a topic and brainstorming ideas of our narrative piece! Please keep practicing sight words and personal words at home! Practice making a complete sentence at home too!
Math/Science/Social Studies: We are working on Module 5 Lessons 8-12 this week. You should have the homework already for this module, please let me know if you do not! The other module book (4) was sent home. Students do not need to keep these in their backpacks! You may take them out, practice any missing pages, or do what you’d like with them! 🙂 The pages that are incomplete in Module 4, we either did them together or did not have time to get to them! In science, we are growing lima beans and discussing the parts of the plant. In social studies, we are working on public issues. By the end of the week, we will pick a class issue and brainstorm ways on how to solve it.
