Hi Everyone! This is going to be our LAST week of assignments. The following week will just be a time to catch up on any missing assignments and participate in fun activities. There will be no NEW assignments the last week of school.

Happy Friday Everyone!! Here is a look at today:

Writing

Keep working on your narrative writing plan- that is due on Monday!! Some students were having trouble thinking of memories to pick and here are some just to help: Blue ribbon ceremony, DTE energy, holiday parties, rewards club, my bridal shower, etc.

Math

-Make sure to turn in your Lesson 23! I am putting up a short multiple choice quiz today to try out. This will be due Monday. Try and do it alone so I can see how much you know!

Reading

Turn in your reading group work today!!

Science

Turn in your science Kahoot assignment today!!

Writing

Please make sure your digital memory book is turned in!
Start your Narrative Writing Plan. IT is about a memory you remember from this year. It could be a big moment or small moment such as, becoming a blue ribbon school, becoming a lighthouse school, our holiday parties, making dream catchers, etc.! This is due Monday.

Math

-Today we are going to be learning Lesson 23. The lesson is about finding equivalent fractions to one whole.
Assignment:

Happy Wednesday! Today is going to be a little bit of a “catch-up” day today:

Writing:

-Finish your Digital Memory Book and turn it in today! I will open up the next writing assignment if you would like to start working on it. It goes with the Memory Book so you need to finish that first. You will work on a narrative plan this week after watching the videos. The narrative plan will be due Monday.

Math:

-No new assignments, turn in Lesson 22. Practice Zearn!

Reading:

-No new assignments. Make sure to work on your Reading Group Assignment today!

Science

-Make sure to watch the Mystery 4 video and do the Kahoot assignment by Friday!

Math

-We are going to do Math on Tuesday (today) and Thursday this week. We will end the week with a short “quiz” on Friday. We are skipping Lesson 21 and doing Lesson 22 today. You are going to practice adding and subtracting fractions from whole numbers.

We have no other reading assignments this week besides your specific reading group assignment.

Blue Group: Read Holes Ch. 43-46 (pages 189-206). Answer the set of questions posted on Google Classroom for the chapters.

Yellow Group: Read Making Big Bolstead Bucks on Raz Kids. Take the quiz. Keep taking the quiz until you get 8 out of 10.

Orange Group: Read The Gossip Monster on Raz Kids. Take the quiz. Keep taking the quiz until you get 8 out of 10.

Green Group: Read Ghosts in the House on Raz Kids. Take the quiz. Keep taking the quiz until you get 8 out of 10.

Red Group: Read Why We Sleep? on Raz Kids. Take the quiz. Keep taking the quiz until you get 8 out of 10.

Science

-There is only one assignment for science this week- it will be due Friday. It is Mystery 4: How Does Your Brain Control Your Body?
Assignment:
1. Watch the mystery video up until the activity.
2. Continue to watch the activity part and try it out at home! You can even upload or send pictures if you would like.
3. Continue to watch the video after the activity.
4. Instead of a Google Form with questions, I made a Kahoot for you to try this week!! (we loved to do them in our classroom) I will post the Kahoot on Google Classroom.
