Happy Tuesday! Here is a look at today:

Spelling

-Continue to practice Week 27 words on SpellingCity. No assignments today. I attached some practice sheets if you want to use them.

Writing

-Make sure you are working on making a card, picture, poster, message to health care workers thanking them by Wednesday. Please send it to my email at hullj@dearbornschools.org. I have gotten some so far and they are excellent!!:)
On Wednesday, I am going to post the writing on Google Classroom that goes along with the poster/picture you created. That will be due Sunday.
If you want to get ahead, I will share the directions below.

Math

-Make sure to send me the Problem Set for Module 5 Lesson 3 by today! There are no new assignments. Look at Google Classroom to access all the videos and sheets.
I will have a Google Hangout link today at 3-3:30 if anyone wants to log on and ask questions or needs help with anything! This is not required and is not a time for the class to log on and chat- this is just for individuals to log on if they need help:)

Reading

-Make sure to do the Readworks story before Friday in case you need a redo! I will be contacting you today about redos so far.
Assignment:
1. Today I will be starting our new Chapter Book Wonder!
2. I will post a Google Hangout link at 12:30-1:00. Click on it and you will see and hear me reading the book.
3. I also ask that you have index cards or small paper and something to write with because we will be making vocabulary cards.
4. After I read a few chapters today, we will practice some discussion questions together on the chat.
5. IF you cannot make the Google Hangout today, I will record it and you can listen anytime you want. I will also post the questions we did and you can answer them on your own time and send them to me.

Nothing will be due for reading today.

Science

-We are starting Mystery 3 today, which is all about weathering and erosion. You are going to be watching how mountains change over time and how they form. You will also take a look at some ancient ruins.
Assignment:
1. Watch the Mystery 3 video (all of the videos)

Sharpen the Saw!

It is important to incorporate some movement into your day! My challenge today is to get some physical activity in today whether it is inside or outside. I found some great workout videos for kids that are featuring some NFL players. Check them out! Mr. Harvey might have already shared this with you since it is apart of the American Heart Association.
