I hope everyone had a restful break! Here is a look at our week:
ELA/Writing: In writing, students are going to start their own compare/contrast stories. They will be comparing and contrasting Martin Luther King Jr. and Ruby Bridges based on multiple texts and videos. In ELA, we will be learning how to integrate information for multiple sources about the same topic (which ties nicely with writing!)

Math: We are going to get our Module 3 tests back and finish learning more about the standard algorithm for double digit multiplication (Lesson 38). It was not needed for our test, but it is important we focus more on it to help prepare students for 5th grade. We are then going to start Module 4 this week. Module 4 is focused on angles, shapes, and lines. Our goal is to complete Lessons 1-3 this week in Module 4.
Science/ Social Studies: In science, we are going to be wrapping up our sound unit this week. We are learning about high pitch and low pitch sound waves. In social studies, we are learning about The Bill of Rights and how bills are made.
