Reminder: There is no school Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and there is also a half day Tuesday. We will be doing our NWEA reading test this week starting on Wednesday.

ELA/Writing: In Writing, we are continuing our informational writing. We are comparing and contrasting Koalas and Frogs. In ELA, we are continuing to learn how to find the most important information in an informational text and retell key events.

Math: We are switching our focus this week from division to multiplication. We are going to be learning about prime and composite numbers, along with factor pairs. Our goal is to do lessons 22-24 this week!
Science/Social Studies: In science, we are starting a new mystery that is focusing on investigating sound waves a little bit further. In Social Studies, we are starting a new unit. Our test scores will be sent home this week. Our new unit will be on government/rights/responsibilities.
