Good Morning Parents!
A Social Studies study guide was sent home this week Wednesday for students to start working on. It will be due on Wednesday (1/15) and we will have our test on Thursday (1/16). Some things on the study guide we have learned before break and some we are finishing up learning just now!
However, it is possible that some things could have been forgotten over break!
Good resources the help your child on the study guide:
* Classroom activities (we will be taking all of our work home today from our Social Studies folders)
* Classwork- check blue folders in the next few days for any class work we do that is sent home as well.
* Online Social Studies Book- http://textbooks.wmisd.org/Downloads/4th/Chapter1.pdf
We do not have a Social Studies textbook, but from time to time we use this online book on Google Classroom.
We will also review all next week and have a big review day on Wednesday! Let me know if you have any other questions and happy studying!
Math:
We have just started learning long division this week. It is new to 4th graders and they have come a long way this week on understanding what to do! However, it has been difficult to remember every step (specifically what to do once you bring down the second number). We are working hard in school to fix that. However, I thought I would share a poster with you that we have in our classroom that could help reinforce the steps at home while working on homework! I did also post this to Remind if you recieve my messages on there:)
