Hope everyone had a great weekend! Here is a look at our week:
ELA/Writing: We are discussing setting this week as we continue to read our class story “BFG.” We are also wrapping up DRA testing and continuing to build Daily 5 stamina. In writing, we are working on starting a story with a strong lead. We will begin our rough draft stories of our personal narratives.
Spelling: Our tests will always be on Friday. (Unless there is a short week/ days off). You can always find our words on SpellingCity weekly for extra practice. Students have been graphing their spelling progress in their LIM Binders and the tests are sent home graded on Mondays.

This week we are going to be doing Modules 9-10, review, and the mid-module assessment.
Science/ Social Studies: In science, we are starting our next Energy mystery. We will be focusing on types of energy while designing a rollercoaster.
