Music Learners!

Spring Break 2020

April 6th through April 10th is spring break for the Dearborn Public Schools. During this week students will not need to complete any on-line assignments and teachers will not be available. Students and teachers are on break starting Monday April 6th and continuing through Friday April 10.

This is only for the week of April 6th through the 10th.
Students will continue their distance learning on Monday, April 13, and teachers will once again be available to deliver on-line and distance learning.

Once again, all on-line and distance learning will resume on April 13 and continue until the end of the school year.

Please remember that we must all do our part to stop the spread of the COVID 19 virus. Please stay home, and stay safe because people with no visible symptoms can spread the disease.

At Home Music Learning

Musicplayonline has many fun and exciting things to learn while you are home. Go to LOGIN: snow PW: 2020

While we are at home we can still learn music and work on new skills. Here is a fun Art-Music BINGO. There will be a chance to win prizes for those who work on the BINGO BOARD. Print a copy or keep track of what you are doing and put your work in a folder to show us when you return to school.

I want each and every one of you to know I love you and want you to be safe. This may be a stressful time for your families. Please try to stay out of crowded places and wash hands often. Go to the for up to date information about the Corona Virus. You may also email me at or message me through Class Dojo. If you need access to Recorder music or Chorus Tracks the Password is 314.

Important Information

Maples School will be open tomorrow.
A staff member at Whitmore Bolles may have been exposed to the virus. Dr. Maleyko said it was his decision to close Whitmore Bolles, although the health department felt the risk to the students and staff was very low.  If the staff person is shown to have the virus, the District would likely be directed by the Wayne County Health Department on how to proceed.
This virus is a strain of the flu which affects the lungs. Healthy children and adults are at a low risk. We are taking precautions to keep our students safe.
