As a follow up to the required materials from the beginning of the year, please make sure that you are bringing your Composition Notebook, folder and Dry Erase (EXPO) marker to class everyday!

Please review your notes on the Powers of Exponents (Powers to Powers) Rule. You will have a short 5 question quiz on this information tomorrow. I have attached a copy of the notes for your review.

Don’t forget to attend Open House on Wednesday, September 12 from 6:00-8:30 pm. You will have the opportunity to visit your classrooms and meet with teachers!

Both 7th and 8th grade classes are responsible for finishing their assigned in class work for homework tonight.

You will have a pop quiz in class tomorrow 🙂 The quiz will cover subjects that you covered in math last year.

7th Grade Quiz will cover:

• unit rate
• equivalent ratios
• graphing

8th Grade Quiz will cover: 

• Positive and negative integers (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing)

All students will take the NWEA Math test on Tuesday September 18, and Friday September 19. Please make sure that you get a good night sleep, and eat a healthy breakfast!
