Lesson 5 quiz is complete and in the grade books. Next week is the last week of the card marking. Ixl extra credit is due November 1st. Any late work is due by October 31st.

Homework: Two of the 4 ixl assignments are due Monday morning with 90% or higher. 4th P 12, 5th M 2, 6th K1, and 7th F8.

Tuesday- slides day

Wednesday- 7th grade wear yellow. PBIS day movies

Thursday- Halloween costumes, no masks, no full face paint, and no props.

Friday- Woodworth colors purple and yellow. Pep assembly

Study guide answers are on google classroom for the quiz tomorrow. We will be completing lesson 6 tomorrow and moving into lesson 7 on Friday. Lesson 7 goes back into multiplying and dividing integers as well as decimals using our integer rules from lesson 4. Next week is the last week of the marking period and all work will be due by Thursday October 31st. ixl extra credit is also due Friday November 1st for the first card marking.

We have finished up lesson 4 and will be moving on to lesson 5 converting fractions into decimals that repeat and terminate next week. Just as a reminder ixl 7th grade c 12,13,16,17 are due tonight with a score of 90 or better. The tutorials for lesson 5, that are on google classroom, are due Monday. Have a great weekend.

Today students were given a study guide and practice and problem solving pages 35-36 to complete. They will be due first thing tomorrow. We will be going over answers as well as playing kahoot to study for the quiz tomorrow. Students could also be working on ixl 7th grade c 12,13,16 and 17 to help prepare for the quiz.

This week we will be finishing up lesson 4 Multiplying and Dividing Integers and taking lesson 4 quiz.

Students can always work on ixl.com at home to practice their skills. There are 3 more weeks till the end of the card marking, students please make sure you are checking your grades online and turning in bell work/homework. There is tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the library after school if you feel you may need some extra help.

Today we took our lesson 3 quiz. Math menu reviews were also turned in today. Grades for those two items will be posted within the week. Tomorrow we will begin lesson 4 which works with multiplying and dividing integers.

Homework from Practice and Problem Solving page 23-24 due tomorrow.

Today’s notes on adding and subtracting integers have been posted to google classroom. Please make sure you have all notes copied for tomorrows lesson. Quiz 2 retakes will be tomorrow after school if you have signed up with Ms. Harris.

We will begin lesson 3 tomorrow. Students that would like a re-take on quiz 2 that scored less than 70% can stay after school on Thursday. Please let Ms. Harris know so she can add you to the list.

Today’s quiz and study guide scores will be posted tonight/tomorrow morning. Frayer models were passed out after the quiz to go over key vocabulary from the last two units. The two words must be picked from the following list….

Additive Inverse

Opposite

Frayer models need to include a definition, example, non example and picture or other notes about the term.
