Today we will have our google hangout at 1pm. Link will be on google classroom 5 minutes prior to the start of the meeting. The video and notes from the 10am meeting will be posted onto google classroom today.

We hope everyone had a good break. New assignments have been posted for the week on google classroom. If you complete late work please make sure to click the button to mark as complete to submit. Google hangout will be tomorrow at 10 and 1pm.

We want to thank all of our students for their hard work. We also want you to know that we are here for you and we will continue to support you in your online learning. So far we have had three sets of work and three quizzes. If you have not completed an assignment or quiz you can still can. We have been putting grades into grade book so you can check student connect to see if you are missing anything. Also you can retake a quiz if you have a score of 6 or lower.

Mrs. Mcgrath and I will not be assigning new work during spring break but we will continue with online learning April 13th. We hope that you enjoy your time with family and take sometime to do something fun.

Today we held two google hangouts. The afternoon hangout video has been posted. Please watch and review the steps of one and two step equations.

You can continue to turn in late work, please send us an email or make sure you mark as complete on google classroom.

Assignments have been posted on google classroom. We will have two google hangouts tomorrow one at 10am and one at 1pm. 10 question multiple choice quiz will be on Friday. You can still complete any work from the last two weeks. Please make sure to hit mark as done when you complete an assignment.

Remember tomorrow we will have our Lesson 15 quiz. The link will be available on google classroom at 8am and will be open until 8pm. At 9pm check your email for your grade on the quiz.

Another reminder that week two work is due Sunday by 8pm. Please remember to hit mark as done to turn in your assignment as you complete it. We do go back and check ixl, khan, and iready for minutes and completion.

Thank you to everyone that was able to join our google hangouts yesterday. We have posted the videos from the first hangout as well as videos explaining ixl R.1-R.3. We will have another quiz on Friday with 10 multiple choice questions just like last week. Questions will be about the problems on ixl R.1,R.2 and R.3. Make sure you use the sheet on what math words mean that was shared on google classroom to help while you work. You may use all notes you have on the quiz. The quiz will be open starting at 8am- 8pm. We are not planning on having another hangout this week but we will have another next Tuesday.

Please continue to work on your assignments from this week, we will still accept work from last week. If you have not completed the quiz from last Friday please take that as well, there are bout 30 students who have not completed.

Ixl extra credit sheet MUST be turned in by this Friday at 3pm. You can either send us a picture of your sheet completed or send a google doc/email of the extra credit categories you have completed to 95% or higher.

Tomorrow we will have two google hangouts to answer questions about week two assignments. We will also go over any questions you may have had about week one’s assignments. There will be a hangout at 10am as well as 1pm. Links for each hangout will be posted on google classroom prior to the start of each hangout.

Remember school rules apply while on the hangout. Please turn off your microphone at the start of the hangout to ensure that you can hear your teachers. The hangout will be recorded so that we can post it to google classroom for those that are unable to attend live. Each hangout will be 30-45 minutes, they are not mandatory but are helpful tools to help complete work and answer questions.

There will be a quiz on google forms on Friday from 8:00am to 8:00pm very similar to last week.

All work for this week will be due Sunday by 8pm. Many of you have already sent in photos and turned in your assignments on google classroom. We are able to see your progress on ixl, khan, and iready so you do not have to share a picture of your progress for those. Please make sure to click turn in on google classroom when you are done with an activity.

We will post new assignments on Monday March 23rd at 8am. We will have another google hangout on Tuesday morning. We will post the specific times and links on Monday morning. Since we are having the google hangout on Tuesday we may not be as quick responding to questions or may wait to respond to them during the hangout. We will record the hangout and will try to post it to google classroom the same day for any students that are unable to attend.
