Hello,

I have posted an assignment on http://newsela.com for you all to work on. Do not adjust the level of the article or else it will delete all of your work/create multiple assignments assigned to you. This assignment will be due Friday, March 20th. Directions will be on the assignment page but are posted below:

HIGHLIGHT any words you do know in red. Find the definitions from Google and annotate to show the meaning of the words.

HIGHLIGHT anything you find unique or interesting in GREEN. There must be at least TWO things highlighted in Green.

HIGHLIGHT questions you have in YELLOW. You must have at least 4 questions.

HIGHLIGHT a TEXT TO TEXT connection in blue.

HIGHLIGHT a text to self or text to world connection in RED.

Explain your thoughts for highlighted text by writing down what is required. You must have at least 10 annotations.

I will also be posting another assignment later on for you to keep track of your feelings, thoughts and what you are doing during this crazy time. This is a primary source that people may look back on years from now when they study the Coronavirus.

Classwork: Nationalism/Latin American Revolutions Quiz You will need to come make this up Tuesday, March 10 before or after school.

After the quiz, we began working on #18 Industrial Revolution Vocab. This can be found below as a PDF

The French Revolution test for those who were absent the day of will now be tomorrow, March 4, 2020, before or after school. If you are coming before school, you must be here by 6:45 or you will not have enough time. If you are taking it after school you must be in my room by 2:20 or else I may not let you take it.

If you need to take the French Revolution SLOT you may come at either of these times as well.

We watched the CNN 10 from February 28th and March 2nd and wrote down SIX facts overall for both.

Students got the rest of the hour to complete the webquest. It is due first thing Tuesday, March 3, 2020.
