Good morning!!! Happy Monday!
I hope that everyone is doing well π You can listen to my directions for today by clicking here.
Since
your Investigation 4: Sources assignment is due today, I am not posting
the next assignment until tomorrow. I know that many of you are still
finishing up last week’s assignments.
Some Advice:
1)
Remember, when you read the headnote/attribution you need to focus on
the Who, What, When, Where, and Why–those are the main questions. What
can you learn from that background information? Why does it seem
important?
2) Many of your answers may seem similar between
sources–this is good, it means that the sources agree with each other
(that makes them more trustworthy!)
3) Focus your thinking on the central question–what does this source tell me about why hazardous child labor exists in Nepal?
4)
Take a breath!! I am interested in seeing what you have learned from
the sources, not if you are finding exactly the right answer. Most of
the questions have multiple correct answers π
If you’ve got
questions, please ask! Don’t sit there staring at your screen or
panicking! I’m here to help. You might also want to talk to a
friend–when we do this type of reading in class, you always have the
opportunity to talk to others. HOWEVER your work should be your own. You
will not receive credit for copying and pasting someone else’s work.
***If you would like to begin your CER today, email me and I will make the assignment available to you right away.
