Social Studies 3/27

Good Morning and Happy Friday!

Make sure you are doing the work for this week in order! I know I set the due dates for later, but don’t put off getting started!

1. Investigation 4: Nepal Background
—–Read the slides, listen to my notes (the links on each slide)
—–Answer the questions on the assignment Google Doc
2. Investigation 4: Nepal Sources
—–Read the source, listen to my notes (the links on each slide & in the assignment)
—–Answer the questions on the assignment Google Doc
3. Check your scores on the Asia assignments. You can submit corrections!
4. I’m going to go through and send out another reminder email for anyone who has not turned work in yet this week.
—–I know that I said the due dates were today and Monday, but I should see something from each of you at this point
—-These emails are reminders, not meant as a punishment.
5. Let me know if you have questions or thoughts 🙂

New this week: I’ve recorded myself giving directions and talking about assignments– any link you see that is to Vocaroo or starts with voca.ro is one of my recordings 🙂 If you click the link, it should take you to a screen that has a big green play button–click it to hear me talk about things!

I have also attached a document here with a proposed schedule for Social Studies work this week 🙂 You obviously do not have to follow these instructions, but I recommend splitting up the work for my class this week! Don’t try to get it done all at once 🙂

CNN10: Initial jobless claims set a record, grocery store workers are hailed as heroes, we visit Central America, and a reporter evades an approaching herd of bison.
