Dear Parents,

I would like to take this time to welcome you and your child to the fourth/fifth multi-age project based classroom. We can all look forward to many exciting and rewarding experiences as the year progresses.

Language Arts and Technology across the curriculum is a priority and will involve several Project Based Learning activities allowing students to express their creative talents. Some supplies will be provided.

The following organizational materials and supplies are optional, but would be helpful to your child throughout the year:

school box (storage for pencils, color pencils, etc.)

color pencils (mapping skills/social studies, language arts, projects, etc.)

thin markers (language arts, projects, etc.)

liquid paper or white-out (all subjects)

extra number 2 pencils

extra paper

glue stick

one-subject (100 pages) spiral notebook (math journal)

If you would like to donate a box of Kleenex and/or disinfected wipes to our classroom, it would be greatly appreciated. In addition, students will need a Read-to-Self chapter book and a healthy snack the first full day of school (Wednesday, September 7).

Your cooperation assistance, throughout the school year, will be most appreciated.
