Reading Month begins today:)

Students are asked to read approximately 20-30 minutes daily (150 minutes per week). They should record and turn in their minutes each Friday signed by a parent. If their reading month packet is misplaced, I have attached the link below.

A Reminder from STAND…

The Talent Show on Wednesday, March 1 is for students only.

Students are asked to bring $1 to donate to the Ronald McDonald House in Detroit.

Our class will be visiting the book fair tomorrow (3-1-17) at 9:00 AM.

If your child plans to buy, they will need to bring their money to school tomorrow.

The Box Top contest begins today.

All box tops are due Monday, February 28. This is the Monday we return from break.

Please put Box Tops in a bag with your child’s name, teacher’s name, and the number of Box Tops.

4/5 Vocal Concert is Tonight

7:00 PM

Howard Gym

Students should report to their classroom at 6:45. Attendance will be taken at 7:00 PM.

I have a meeting until 6:45; therefore, the door will be lock until that time.

Students should place their coat on the coatrack outside the gym.

That way, they will not have to return to the classroom after the concert.

I hope to see you, grandparents, etc. the evening:)

Current 5th grade students who are interested in attending Dearborn’ STEM Middle School this fall must apply by March 17.
