To Avoid Summer Learning Loss, students should continue to read 30 minutes daily. We agreed as a class, they should complete at least two chapter books (100 pages or more) this summer.

In addition, I am sending home three math journals. Students should complete at least one math lesson per week. The topic is Fractions. Their Succeed book has a Homework Helper page for each lesson.

Pack a Sack/Brown Bag Lunch and Beverage (If students bring a lunchbox, they will have to carry it around all day. This may get in the way of planned activities.)

This is an outside field trip. Students will need comfortable shoes.
