Hello everyone! Today your child has 3 assignments to complete.

This includes:
Math – Module 4 Lesson 34
Spelling – rainbow write the spelling words (spelling words are on the weekly calendar)
Writing – Draw a picture of the caterpillar at the beginning, middle and end of the story. Write a sentence to go with each picture. (link for the story is in the weekly calendar)

Please make sure to send your child’s teacher pictures of the work when it is completed. We are keeping track of this for 4th quarter grades.

Your child should also be completing 10 minutes of Raz-Kids and 10 minutes of Zearn. This is something that we are logging in and checking each day.

3 – Progressing: Submitted most assignments and attended some of the check-ins

4 – Limited Participation:

• rarely or did not submit work (may be required to attend summer school)
• rarely attended check-in sessions (may be required to attend summer school)
• family hardship during time of instruction (summer support offered)

Hello and welcome back from Spring Break! We hope that everyone had a safe and relaxing time. For this week please have your child continue to work on the pages left in their homework packet, use Zearn and Reading Eggs.

Next week you will be getting a message on Dojo of a weekly calendar with assignments for that week. In addition, all kindergarten teachers have shared Dojo accounts. Please reading and complete posts that are made by any kindergarten teacher. We are working very closely together during this time to make everything as easy as possible for you at home.

Next week is Spring Break 4/6-4/10. During this week your child is not required to complete online learning activities. Attached to the post is a BINGO board for you child to complete. On this board you will find activities such as clean your room, build Maples Elementary out of blocks, and even helping clean your yard.

Your child’s report will be available for you to view on 4/6 though Parent Connect. Please use the directions attached to view the report card.

A great resource to include some science in your day is Mystery Science. They have a section that parents can complete at home. This is something that we use at school so your child should know who Mystery Doug is.

Attached you will find the writing prompts for the week. Please send a completed picture to your child’s teacher on their ClassDojo account.
