Hello! I hope that everyone stayed warm yesterday and enjoyed the snow day! Below you will find what we are working on for the week of January 29-February 1.
*If you have not returned the folder signed that the report card came home in please send it back this week. I cannot send home the next report card if the folder is not returned.
Daily 5 – Due to the snow day last week we are continuing to work on the book this week is called Polar Bears. We will be learning about non-fiction texts.
Spelling – The word family for this week is the –an family. The words that will be coming home are: can, tan, man, said, not, do. Below is a link for the –an word family video from Jack Hartmann.
Math – Homework Pages: 241,245,249,253,257
Writing – We will be continuing our work on informational writing. We will be finishing our writing on Penguins and then moving onto writing about Polar Bears.
Science – For science we are focusing on severe weather. We will start by talking about what is a meteorologist and different types of weather.
