Friday Wrap, 5/15/20

The caterpillars haven’t changed into chrysalides yet. Some of them are hanging at the top so it could possibly happen this weekend. I will keep you posted! Here is a picture:

Now, let’s get our red folders and highlight all the uppercase and lowercase Pp we can find. Count all the Pp that you highlight.

Now we are going to listen to the Qq song, then highlight all the uppercase and lowercase Qq that you can find. Remember to count all of them.

Which was greater? The total number of the letter Pp or Qq?

Mathematics – I want to share a game I used to play with my family. You can play with a sibling or your parents. Take a picture to show me the results of your game.

Kindergarten Registration

Parents, your child is already registered for kindergarten at William Ford. We only have one student moving to a new school next year. If you change your phone number(s) or need to update email accounts, PLEASE notify next year’s teacher and the William Ford office when school opens up. However, you will need a new physical and immunization record. After the stay at home order is lifted try to schedule an appointment with your child’s pediatrician.

You may come to William Ford tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12 from 12:00 -2:00 pm to pick up a few summer supplies for your child, if you wish.

WITH A FOUR-YEAR-OLD CHILD

Dearborn Schools offers a Free Preschool Program

GSRP is a free program for all eligible families and is designed to give a high quality preschool experience prior to Kindergarten. 

 Eligibility is primarily based on family income (federal poverty level), life experiences and child’s age.   If your child’s birth date is between December 2, 2015 to December 1, 2016, your child may qualify for this program.  

If you would like to be sent information about registration for the 2020-2021 school year please fill in the GSRP Interest Form 2020-2021 and someone will contact you as we start the registration process.

How many letter Nn did you find?

Now, let’s listen to the letter Oo song. Now highlight all the uppercase and lowercase Oo that you find.

Count all the Nn and Oo letters that you found. Were there more Nn letters or Oo letters? This is what I found.
